Revenue leakage detection for restaurants
Status: Planned
Revenue rarely leaks through one big failure. It leaks through tables that sit empty a little too long, slow resets at peak, and capacity that never gets used.
How GroundMind approaches it
- GroundMind measures real turns and idle time per table.
- It compares them against your own best observed service, not an industry average.
- It shows an estimate with the method and evidence behind it.
Where it stands today
Not yet producing real figures. GroundMind shows an honest 'not ready' state rather than an estimate until table analysis is validated. When live, it is included in the PRO plan.
What you need
- Table turnover tracking set up and validated
- Average check information you provide
Limitations
- Figures are estimates, not accounting
- No figures are shown from simulated or demo data
How it will be measured
- Uses validated turn and idle times per table, never simulated data.
- Compares them with your own best observed service, not an industry benchmark.
- Converts the difference into an estimate using an average check you provide, and shows the method beside the figure.
What the pilot aims to validate
- That the underlying table measurements are accurate enough to support an estimate.
- Whether the estimate is understandable and useful to the operator who reads it.
- That GroundMind shows 'not ready' instead of a figure whenever evidence is insufficient.
This capability is Planned. A pilot is a validation exercise at your site, not a guarantee of results.
