How it works
From a camera event to a sentence you can act on.
How GroundMind turns camera events into evidence-backed operational insight: observations, events, areas, real vs. simulated data, and privacy boundaries.
1. A camera reports something
Your Ring camera notices motion or a person and tells GroundMind. GroundMind retrieves the still image tied to that event. It does not stream, record or keep continuous video.
2. The image becomes observations
Our vision analysis looks at the image and records structured facts, for example "two people present in the waiting area". Observations are matched to the areas you drew, so GroundMind knows which part of the room they relate to.
3. Observations become events
GroundMind combines observations over time into business events. Each event keeps a link back to the observations that produced it, so every statement can be checked.
4. Events become your briefing
The briefing tells you what matters at each location in plain language, ordered by business importance, with the evidence one tap away.
Real, simulated and unavailable
GroundMind always separates real data from your cameras from simulated examples used for demos and setup. Simulated results never appear as real performance. When there isn't enough real data, GroundMind says it isn't ready rather than guessing.
What you need
- A supported camera (see integrations).
- A camera view of the areas you care about. A camera that only sees a corridor can't measure tables.
- Your opening hours and, for table analysis, your tables and seat counts.
