Who it's for

Restaurant and hospitality owners and operators, from a single site to multi-location groups, who already have cameras but no time to watch them. Restaurants are the first market; other physical businesses can use the same foundations.

Sample daily briefing

1. Observations
   12:41 and 12:44 — Dining camera: two people at an area marked Table 4; at 12:58 no people, items still on the table.

   Event
   Table 4 vacated 12:58; not yet shown as cleared at the next observation (13:09).

   Briefing
   During the lunch peak, Table 4 waited at least 11 minutes between guests leaving and being reset.

2. Observations
   13:05 — Entrance camera: a group of three in the waiting area; again at 13:12.

   Event
   A party waited at the entrance for at least 7 minutes.

   Briefing
   Guests were waiting while a table sat uncleared. The delay was in the reset, not at the door.

3. Observations
   23:47 — Rear-door camera: one person present; location closed at 23:00.

   Event
   Activity at the rear entrance after closing time.

   Briefing
   One after-hours event at the rear entrance. Check whether it was a scheduled late close.

How it works, in four steps

1. Connect your cameras (Ring today; RTSP cameras in pilot).
2. Mark the areas that matter: entrance, host stand, tables, bar, back door.
3. When a camera reports an event, GroundMind analyses that still image and records what it saw.
4. Your briefing turns those observations into plain-language events, each with its evidence. More detail

What's available, in pilot and planned

We label every capability honestly. "Available" means it runs in production on real customer data.

• Ring camera connectionAvailable

  Connect a Ring account through Ring's own authorization and choose which cameras GroundMind may use.

• Event-based still-image analysisAvailable

  When a Ring camera reports motion or a person, GroundMind analyses the still image tied to that event. No continuous video is recorded or stored.

• People and group presenceAvailable

  Detects whether people or groups are present in the areas you define.

• Plain-language briefing and activity timelineAvailable

  A daily view of what happened at each location, with the evidence behind each item.

• Multiple locations under one organizationAvailable

  Add locations, switch between them, and keep each location's data separate.

• Camera areas (zones)Available

  Owners and admins draw named areas on a camera view; published versions are kept for audit.

• Roles and two-factor protectionAvailable

  Owner, admin and member roles; sensitive actions require two-factor verification.

• RTSP / IP camerasIn pilot

  Generic RTSP cameras can be added and tested; frame processing requires our analysis runtime and is enabled per pilot.

• Table turnover trackingPlanned

  Requires a camera that sees real tables, published table areas and validated seated/cleared detection. Not yet producing real results.

  Estimates lost revenue from slow turns and idle capacity. Depends on table turnover tracking; GroundMind shows no figures until real analysis exists.

What GroundMind does not do

• No continuous video recording or storage.
• No facial recognition or identification of individuals.
• Not an alarm, security or emergency monitoring service.
• No figures are invented: where real analysis is missing, GroundMind says so.

Privacy and access

Each organization's data is isolated. Owners and admins control locations, cameras and team access, and sensitive changes need two-factor verification. See the privacy policy.
