Works with the cameras you already have.

Which cameras GroundMind works with: Ring (available, event-based still images) and RTSP/IP cameras (pilot). Requirements and limitations for each.

RingAvailable

You connect through Ring's own authorization and choose which cameras GroundMind can use. Your Ring account email doesn't have to match your GroundMind email.
GroundMind uses the still image tied to each Ring event. It doesn't record continuous or recorded video.
You can disconnect at any time from Settings.
Limitation: analysis happens only when Ring reports an event, so quiet periods produce no images.

Owners and admins can add a camera by its RTSP address. Credentials are stored on the server and never shown again after saving.
A connection test confirms the stream is reachable and a frame can be decoded.
Frame analysis runs on our analysis runtime and is switched on per pilot customer.
Not yet supported: automatic camera discovery (ONVIF) and vendor-specific DVR/NVR integrations.

GroundMind does not currently integrate with POS, reservation or scheduling systems. If one matters to you, tell us in your demo request.
